Abstract
This white paper introduces the Semi-Concierge Medicine® (SCM) model, an innovative primary care framework that bridges the gap between high-volume Fee-for-Service (FFS) and costly concierge care. By combining modest membership fees with insurance billing, SCM restores relationship-based care, reduces administrative burden, and improves sustainability. Validated in a large academic health system, SCM advances the Quadruple Aim—enhancing patient experience, improving population health, reducing costs, and supporting provider well-being—while providing systems with a scalable, mission-aligned, and financially resilient alternative.
