A QUICK WORD FROM MICHAEL

Congratulations,
and a massive thank you. 🎉

We know your calendar is full. Like, really full! We also recognize that you could be anywhere this October, and yet, you are choosing to be here at CMF with your peers — to show up, share what you know, and pour into a room full of physicians and their team members (and maybe some of their spouses too!) who need exactly what you're carrying.

That means everything to us, thank you!

This year is uniquely special. october 2026 marks our 10th Annual, and the theme couldn't feel more right: “In it FOR the Joy.”

As you know, Doctors didn't get into medicine FOR the easy days. Something deeper called them.

Like I’ve said many times to Physicians at CMF over the years “You didn’t sign up for easy… you signed up FOR worthwhile.” But somewhere between the hard cases, the long hours, the missed recitals, and the weight of building a practice and a life — joy can start to feel distant FOR all of us. Or worse, some physicians you and I both know have quietly convinced themselves that joy is meant FOR someone else. Not FOR them.

CMF 2026 believes joy in medicine is still out there — and worth finding.

It might come from a practice model that looks nothing like anyone else's in your community. It might come from a shift in how you think about the work itself. No model is perfect. But showing up is where it starts — in the exam room, in the relationship, in the moment a patient finally feels truly seen and heard.

As a speaker this October, you're helping physicians find their way back to that. Reminding them that hospitality in healthcare matters. That strong relationships can be forged — and when they are, they create practices that both patients and physicians actually want to keep coming back to.

That's the mission this year. And we're so grateful you said yes! Thank you!

We can't wait to see you on that stage this October!

"It's no longer just about being the best doctor in the world. It's about being the best doctor for the world, your patients, and your community."

This year marks our 10th Annual —

and the theme couldn't feel more right. Doctors didn't get into medicine for the easy days. Something deeper called them. In it for the joy is about finding your way back to that thing, especially when everything is hard and nothing went right. And your patients always feel it when you have.

As a speaker, you're helping physicians do exactly that — strengthen patient relationships, build sustainable practices, and lead with intention. We're grateful you're here.

Did you know?

A few fun CMF facts before you go —

  • Healthcare loves its caffeine — CMF brews 20+ gallons of coffee every single day. You're welcome!

  • 💧 CMF participants stay hydrated — 36+ cases of bottled spring water disappear in 2.5 days. This crowd comes thirsty.

  • 🎤 In the past 10 years at CMF — 200+ physicians and healthcare leaders have stood on this stage. It's a special place!

We're glad you're joining them.

If life happens —

Just text us at (470) 478-6940. No explanation needed. Truly.

We've all been there — missed flights, sick kids, that unforeseen patient, the week that just falls apart unexpectedly. We set up a CMF speaker line just for this. Text us and we'll figure it out from our end. Just know that we can't always move your slot — as other speakers have their timing locked down too — but we will always do our best to roll with whatever comes. No guilt. No drama. Just let us know you're okay and we'll adjust our program from there. Safe travels.

GOOD TO KNOW

Use PowerPoint for your slides.

Our “AV Lead Technician” (Wade) will be your best friend at CMF. He’ll be stationed near the general session stage — get him your deck early if you can — otherwise, bring it on two (2) portable USB or USB-C thumb drives.

Download the CMF Event App

— it has the full schedule (posted August 1st), latest updates via our Instagram page, bonus sessions, access to slide decks (avail Nov 1), sponsor/exhibitor links, directions, the Wi-Fi password when you arrive, venue maps, and more.

plan ahead and plan for Atlanta traffic

Every attendee covers their own travel. No shuttle from hotels or airports. Book your hotel and travel — do it early, this is Atlanta!

Travel & Logistics

Book your flight to Atlanta early — and build in a little buffer. This is Atlanta. Traffic is real and the unexpected happens.

A few important things to know before you arrive:

  • CMF doesn't provide an honorarium or cover travel expenses, but as a speaker you're welcome to attend all sessions plus one pre-conference workshop (with lunch) at no cost.

  • Please plan to be there in person, in professional attire/business casual, with your presentation ready.

  • If an emergency forces you to withdraw, we'd be grateful if you could help us find a replacement — ideally someone who could speak to your topic. Just reach out as early as possible so we can work through it together.

Questions or delays? Email us at editor@conciergemedicinetoday.org or text (include your first and last name) at (470) 478-6940.

See you soon. 🙌

CMF is a friendship factory. Come ready to make some. 🙌

  • Your time slot may shift. Check the final schedule early and often at conciergemedicinetoday.net/schedule and plan your travel with a little flexibility built in.

This is a voluntary, unpaid role. Speaking at CMF is done on a voluntary basis. All travel and expenses are your own.

Keep it educational. CMF is a learning experience first. We ask that all sessions stay non-commercial in tone and content.

One session per speaker in most cases — though you may be invited to join a panel on the day of. Any exceptions are at CMT's discretion.

Be good to each other. Please avoid language or humor that diminishes the dignity of any individual or group. We're building something here — and the room should feel safe for everyone in it.

By presenting, you agree that your content is yours to share and doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights. Full terms and conditions at conciergemedicinetoday.net/faqs-cmt-events.

Your expertise matters here. Thank you for bringing it. 🙌

  • We've moved on from printed handouts — better for the room, better for the planet. If you'd like to share materials with attendees, upload them to the Event App and they'll have everything they need right there.

  • No cocktail reception or organized events are planned Thursday or Friday evening. If fellow attendees put something together outside the venue, that's entirely your call — just know those activities are independent of CMF and CMT isn't responsible for anything outside our walls. Have fun, be safe. 🙂

  • Keep it educational, accurate, and sales-free. That's the standard and the room will feel it when you do.

    Content & prep

    • Build your presentation in PowerPoint and submit by the stated deadline

    • Make sure you have rights to any materials, images, or content that aren't your own

    • Review your confirmed time slot at conciergemedicinetoday.net/schedule — your session includes Q&A, so plan accordingly

    Day of

    • Bring two USB thumb drives with your final deck — give one to CMF and one to the AV tech before you present. Grab yours back after your session

    • Arrive to your room 5–10 minutes early and get comfortable with the setup

    • Do not go over time. When your time is up, wrap up and clear the lectern for the next speaker

    • If you'd like to take questions, invite hands from the room. If not, simply direct attendees to find you in the lobby — that works great too

    • If Q&A is still going when time runs out, move it to the foyer so the next presenter can set up

    A few good reminders

    • Respond promptly when we reach out for anything presentation-related

    • Plan to stay for the full conference — the networking alone is worth it

    • The CMF Host will only have time to engage with you if you finish on time 🙂

  • Please encourage your audience to complete the session evaluation in the Event App — it helps us make CMF better every year. Just point them to it and let them do their thing. We ask that you don't coach or guide their responses. We want honest feedback, and so do you. 🙂

  • Yes, CMF is a live and public event and our format is a face-to-face presentation.

  • Simple, large, and consistent. Design for the person in the back row — if they can't read it, it's too small.

    • Max three levels of information per slide, one or two bullets or visuals per level

    • Keep font sizes generous and layouts clean

    • Set your screen resolution to 1024 x 768

    • Use a consistent format throughout — no surprise design shifts mid-deck

    • No video clips or YouTube links please — skip the MP4s

    • Windows/PowerPoint compatible only — the venue runs Microsoft Windows

    • Slides submitted in advance will be pre-loaded by our AV team. If you haven't sent them ahead, bring two USB drives

    In the room —

    • Use the microphone — every time, even if you think you're loud enough

    • Make eye contact. Talk to the room, not your slides

    • Start on time the moment the doors close or you get the nod

    • End on time — reserve your last 5–10 minutes for Q&A

    • Direct overflow questions to the hallway so the next speaker can set up

    • Stay on topic — announce after your session that you're happy to keep chatting outside

    A few good reminders —

Sessions won't be recorded currently — if that changes, we'll let you know by email. Press may attend any session, and audience members snap photos and hit record regularly. Be thoughtful about what you say and what's on your slides. CMT isn't responsible for any copyright issues in your content.

  • A few friendly reminders before you take the stage —

Come early. Please don't arrive 10 minutes before your slot — it's a lot harder to pull off than it sounds, and it stresses the whole team out. Give yourself real time to park, check in, get your badge, and breathe.

Plan for Atlanta traffic. Add buffer time. Then add a little more.

Find your room before you need it. Head to your session space 5–10 minutes early to meet Wade (our AV lead), get comfortable with the setup, and test your slide remote. No surprises is a good thing.

Sit up front when it's almost your turn. That way you're ready to walk up the moment you're introduced. If the previous speaker's Q&A is running long, just flag one of our team members — we're happy to move things to the hallway so you can start on time.

Need AV help? Our tech team is in and out of every session room all day. Just wave someone down — we've got you.

  • Slide decks go live November 1st in the Event App and stay available through December 31st — accessible to all CMF participants. 🙂

  • Pre-registered attendees, sponsors, exhibitors & speakers are enthusiastic about coming together with you and learning about this space in healthcare and look forward to meeting you! 😊

As per our Terms and Conditions, policies and public notices for this public event, which are made available and posted at https://conciergemedicinetoday.net/faqs-cmt-events, it is solely up to our Venue/facility along with CMT event planners to determine the occupancy, capacity, floor plan layout, etc., with our facilities/conference center team.

Please understand our facility team, space planners and event organizers may change the room layout at their discretion for the occupancy and traffic flow of the room as necessary at any time. We reserve the right to adjust seating, timing, make minor adjustments to the floorplan and/or schedule to ensure exhibitor flow and traffic is maximized and speaker/sponsors/guests and attendees are moved from one room to another comfortably.

Safety is important to everyone. We encourage you to take any & all personal precautions you deem necessary to keep yourself and others safe. If you want to wear a mask, that’s okay with us. Please take care of yourself and understand that  while participating in any event(s) held or sponsored by Concierge Medicine Today, LLC., (“CMT”), and consistent with CDC guidelines, participants, attendees, speakers, exhibitors are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, not attend if you are sick, feel signs of being sick, practice “social distancing, as you individually feel comfortable doing,” and are welcome to but not mandated to wear face coverings to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19 and/or other viruses while at event(s). Because COVID-19 (and other variants and/or illnesses) are extremely contagious and COVID is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, CMT has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, there may be hand sanitizer available in certain places throughout the conference center which you and your team are welcome to use. Restrooms will also have soap for washing your hands.

As stated in our “Participant Agreement: Terms and Conditions” CMT cannot guarantee and accepts no risk or liability whatsoever for you and/or your teams safety at this event and asks that if your participants, team members, or others planning attendance not come if infected or think they have been with COVID-19 or other illness before the event. Additional policies, terms and conditions and more are attached, linked and provided in the attached PDF and below. Finally, any personal choices you make always have assumed risks and by participating/attending any event, including this one which you and your team have and are aware of, we (Concierge Medicine Today, LLC) and our representatives assume no liability whatsoever and you understand, release and assume all risk and consequences resulting in participating in this event and as such, we have outlined these terms within our T&Cs found here (https://conciergemedicinetoday.net/faqs-cmt-events).

If you have dietary restrictions, give our catering staff a heads up and they'll do their best to help. You're also welcome to bring or order in your own meal — just keep it for yourself per facility guidelines.

  • Honestly? It depends. Time of day, topic, session format, and plain old conference energy all play a role. For general sessions we typically see 175–250 attendees. Breakouts tend to draw roughly half that. Either way, the people in the room are there because they want to be — and that matters more than the headcount.

  • Travel, hotel, and transportation expenses are not covered, and no honorarium is provided. We recommend booking your hotel early. Local hotel suggestions can be found here: https://conciergemedicinetoday.net/hotel-travel#hotels

  • A lap top with a USB port, one LCD projector and a microphone will be provided in each session room. PowerPoint format is preferred. And, we recommend you bring your presentation on duplicate USB thumb drives (just in case). Even better, upload your slide deck beforehand here.

  • Please upload your PowerPoint no later than October 1, 2026: https://qrco.de/bfNoIU.

Also we recommend as a best practice to bring your PPT on two USB thumb drives with your presentation copied on both — just in case.
