About the PracticeWe are the first and still the exclusive concierge practice for the past 15 years in Bradenton, Florida. We are 2 physicians who have built a reputation for excellence in medical care. Many of our patients are local physicians: both practicing and retired.We are looking for the right combination of personality, academic level medical interest /knowledge and communication skills to educate and empower patients to prevent disease and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate has several years of experience as a practicing physician and is looking to get back to real problem-solving medicine (as opposed to protocol-based care).We are looking for someone interested in a long-term successful practice in this growing beach community to replace a partner planning retirement. Associates annual salary of 450K with 2-year partnership track leading to expected earnings of 750+K. Bradenton is home to our beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island and nestled between Sarasota to the south and St. Petersburg/ Tampa to the north.Job Requirements
- Internal Medicine trained with active Board Certification or at least 10 years of prior Board certification. Specialists welcome (one of the partners has Board Certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology).
- Have an interest in educating patients about their conditions in easy to understand layman's English.
- This is an opportunity to really get to know your patients (and for them to know you) on a much more personal level.
- Easy-going personality: we have been intentional in choosing the right, highly-trained staff and then going the extra mile to ensure their happiness and commitment to our practice and our patients. We do not have job turnover.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Be immediately available to a full panel of 180 patients with room to grow to 200 or more if desired.
Other Important Details
- No call except our own private patients. This amounts to a few phone calls per weekend and 5-6 hospital admissions per year. Full partnership track after 2 years. 6 weeks vacation plus holidays off, 401K plan, covered health insurance, etc.
