About the Practice

  • Medical Whisperer is my independent Internal Medicine concierge practice started in August 2018, running successfully since then.
  • I have been practicing IM in ABQ since moving here in 1994.
  • Previously I operated in a group then solo practice through the 90s, then spent 16 years as a hospitalist at 2 of the hospitals in town.
  • I also worked as faculty in the hospitalist section for 8 years at the University of New Mexico. I am looking to mentor 2 physicians in my office to create and sustain their own independent LLC concierge practice. I can set them up for success!

Job Requirements

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy in Internal Medicine with at least 5 years of experience post residency, with a desire to practice holistic, thorough internal medicine, forming mutually beneficial connections with your patients.
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to practicing medicine that works great not only for the patients but yourself as well.
  • A practice such as this allows a physician great control of your working schedule, how busy you choose to be and the patients with whom you work.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Physician(s) looking for 2 to come into my office - will own and manage their own independent concierge IM practice.
  • I will mentor them in the process, from start to sustainable.
  • I will directly help with finding your patients, sourcing from my own practice, my waiting list, and ABQ connections to specialty and other concierge practices.
  • I am looking for internists who have enthusiasm for practicing and genuinely care about the patients they serve.
